ERIC ALEXANDER

Eric Alexander
(Gallesburg, Estados Unidos, 1968) es un saxofonista de jazz conocido por su sofisticado estilo hard bop y post-bop. Comenzó como músico clásico, estudiando saxofón alto en la Universidad de Indiana con Eugene Rousseau en 1986. Pronto cambió al jazz y al saxofón tenor, sin embargo, y se trasladó a la Universidad William Paterson, donde estudió con Harold Mabern, Rufus Reid, Joe Lovano, Gary Smulyan, Norman Simmons, Steve Turre y otros.
